Shooting in Serbia – 8 killed, 13 injured

Massacre in the Serbian town of Mladenovac: A 21-year-old man runs amok, according to local media, he seems to shoot people indiscriminately from a moving car. The massacre comes just after a 13-year-old caused a massacre at his own school in Belgrade. He entered his own classroom on Wednesday morning and shot classmates and other staff with a pistol. He killed nine people – eight students and a security guard. Six other students and a teacher were injured. The country is in shock.

The teenager himself called the police after the crime and officers arrested him. He was born in July 2009 and is therefore not of criminal age under Serbian law and cannot be brought before a court.
