North Korea launches underwater drone designed to create ‘radioactive tsunami’

They accuse the US and South Korea of ​​rehearsing “an exercise of ‘occupation’ of North Korea, in terms of its forms and contents” during joint military maneuvers carried out by both countries under the name Shield of freedom. These maneuvers, the North Korean country accuses, “urgently require North Korea to prepare the entire structure of its armed forces for war and strengthen its nuclear capabilities, both in quality and quantity.”

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, oversaw this latest launch with “great pleasure,” and expressed his intention to get both the United States and South Korea to “join in despair over their choice to hold this high-level military demonstration.” A day earlier, South Korean authorities reported that North Korea had launched several cruise missiles into the Sea of ​​Japan, amid heightened tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
