Nurse is tied to the operating table and tortured

The nurse didn’t know what horrors she would face in the next 15 minutes. In fact, all she wanted to do was help when she entered the operating room. By the time she noticed the fall, it was too late. She was held and tortured by four men on the operating table. The Tyrolean police are investigating, writes the “Tiroler Tageszeitung”.

The incident is believed to have occurred at Hall Hospital on February 28. The nurse was lured into the operating room by four male colleagues between the ages of 20 and 50. Under the pretext of practicing proper positioning of the patient, they summoned her. They would have kept her there for fifteen minutes.

Sbelieved to have been just a “joke”.

The nurse has filed a report against the men. They claimed to have only allowed themselves a “joke” with their old employee. When the hospital management found out about the incident, it took less than 24 hours – the alleged perpetrators were all fired.

Stephan Palaver, the hospital’s nursing director, is appalled: “The behavior of the men is out of the question.” He also explains that positioning for surgery is difficult and routinely practiced. Normally this is discussed first and only done without fixation.

The nurse is currently unable to work and is receiving medical treatment. (lia)
