Brit lay next to dead friends in a car accident for two days

Five young people in the UK went missing for two days. Then they were spotted by a walker walking his dog. Three of the occupants died, two survived with serious injuries. Below: Sophie Russon (20). After being rescued from the wreckage, she underwent multiple surgeries at the hospital. She suffered a basilar skull fracture and a cerebral hemorrhage.

“My daughter is unrecognizable,” her mother Anna Certowicz, 42, told the Daily Mail. Her daughter was trapped in the wreckage for nearly two days. “She was cold and frozen with fear. She didn’t have a chance to reach her mobile phone in the car and call someone like that,” the mother continued.

“She’s Still in Shock”

Certowicz also reports to the “Sun” about how badly her daughter is doing. Sophie Russon had “post-rescue panic attacks”. “That’s why the doctors gave her a sedative. She is still in shock and seriously injured.”

Police had previously searched the scene of the accident several times, but were unable to find the wreckage and the injured. A scandal. Especially: Anna Certowicz was sure that something had happened to her daughter and reported it to the police several times. But she was not taken seriously there. “On Sunday the police told me not to call again – they weren’t angry, they were just dismissive.”

Originally there were six people in the car

The finder of the car also made serious accusations against the Daily Mail. The police did not search the possible accident sites “thoroughly enough”. “We were there for about 15 minutes and found the car. The police were very close. I wonder why they didn’t find the car earlier,” said the finder.

According to initial investigations, Sophie Russon’s two school friends, Eve S.* († 21) and Darcy R.* († 21), were also in the car. According to media reports, the two died in the accident.

The trio had met the other two people in a pub on the night from Friday to Saturday and had taken them on their way home. Originally there were even six people in the car. However, the person got out of the car prematurely after a discussion. Most recently, a surveillance camera recorded the car pulling up to the gas station around 2 a.m. on Saturday.
