When Winnipeg’s top scorer Mark Scheifele made it 1-1, the Swiss striker had his stick in the game with an assist. Germany’s Leon Draisaitl scored three goals for Edmonton, who defeated the Jets on Friday.
While Fiala is in a playoff spot with the Kings and Niederreiter with Winnipeg comes Roman Josi closer to the target ranks with the Nashville Predators. After beating the Chicago Blackhawks 3-1, the Tennessee team is five points behind defending champion Colorado Avalanche, the last playoff spot in the West.
