“Never give up!” – Woman fends off attackers in gym Hundreds of Russians immerse themselves in cold water – here’s why

A man attacked 24-year-old Nashali Alma in the gym of her apartment building in Tampa, Florida, while she was working out. As she explained to CBS News, she had already seen the man at the gym. In addition, people would constantly forget their badges or keys.

The man, later identified as 25-year-old Xavier Thomas-Jones, attacked Alma after a brief stint in the studio. But Alma stubbornly defends herself against her attacker:

Police arrest perpetrators

As the police later announced, Thomas-Jones assaulted another woman the day after the attack on Alma. However, the security services were able to arrest the man a short time later.

Police later released a video of Alma advising other women who might find themselves in a similar situation: “Never give up!”
