Twitter users had previously voted in favor of Musk’s resignation in a poll initiated by Musk. However, there is currently little indication that Musk will find a suitable candidate for the top position any time soon. Musk had already warned before the vote that there were no interested parties who could “actually keep Twitter alive”. He himself had taken over the top spot when he bought the internet platform for about $ 44 billion in October. However, Musk had repeatedly signaled that this should not be a permanent solution.
Experts doubt that anyone other than the eccentric tech entrepreneur could lead the group under Musk’s rule.
