In India, police arrested a man who allegedly strangled his partner and chopped her body into 35 pieces.
He then buried the pieces for more than two weeks in a forest in the capital New Delhi – in the middle of the night so as not to arouse suspicion, the Indian news agency IANS reported Monday, according to the police. Over the weekend, she was able to arrest the alleged perpetrator and collect body parts with him in the woods.

The case only came to light after the victim’s father filed a missing person report with the police last week.
