Two planes collide: horror accident at WWII show in Dallas Hundreds of thousands of euros and “image damage”: that’s how expensive the punks were for the island of Sylt

Two World War II planes collided in mid-air during an air show in Dallas on Saturday. According to the organizer, there would have been up to six people on board.

A devastating accident occurred during an air show in Dallas, Texas. Two planes collided at a relatively low altitude over Dallas Executive Airport. Numerous photos and videos of the incident are circulating on social media. The smaller machine flies at high speed toward the larger aircraft and rams it sideways. The planes then break apart and immediately fall to the ground, where they go up in flames.

“At this point, we don’t know how many people were on board,” the US Federal Aviation Administration said. Hank Coates, CEO and organizer of the air show, told NBC News there may have been as many as six people aboard the two planes.

The aircraft are Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and Bell P-63 Kingcobra. The B-17 usually has a crew of four to five, while the smaller P-63 is piloted by a single pilot, Coates said.

There are currently no reports of injuries on the ground, but debris from the planes hit the airport, a nearby highway and a shopping center, Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson said.

Some 180 historic aircraft from the time of the Second World War are used at the air show. The goal is to show visitors how the machines were used during the war. According to NBC, about 4,000 people were present at the time of the accident. (against)
