Three women were found dead in a brothel in Vienna. A 27-year-old suspect who was arrested on Friday evening in a park near the crime scene is in custody, Austrian news agency APA quoted police spokesman Philipp Hasslinger as saying.

The three women are said to have died in a knife attack. The man also had cuts, but they were not life-threatening. Emergency services were called to the scene but could do nothing for the victims in the Asia studio in Vienna’s red light district, it was said. The suspect received emergency medical care from emergency services before being arrested and taken to a hospital accident department. According to initial findings, the three women were likely the only staff present in the establishment at the time of the crime.
