The oldest drivers are in a Skoda Yeti: their average age is 61 years. The Mercedes B-Class (59 years) and the Audi Q3 (58 years) are also far ahead.

No models specifically for the elderly

These cars are not directly developed for seniors. The elderly are too diverse a group for that – with equally diverse expectations and ideas about their cars. Some people like walking, others prefer sailing. In any case, the cliché of felt hats and bobbleheads usually doesn’t fit with these ideas.

However, there are cars with advantages that especially benefit the elderly. Every customer is happy with ergonomically shaped seats, a reversing camera or an automatic trunk lid. But those who can no longer contort themselves so easily when parking, for example, particularly appreciate such details, as well as a higher entry and a better view of the traffic, which some cars have compared to other models. This explains, for example, that the fairly long Audi Q3 finishes in third place, but the flat TT only in 52nd place.
