The Istanbul Metropolitan Police has a new fleet of vehicles.

Istanbul police will hunt criminals with 23 new luxury cars. The reason for this increase is the criminals themselves.

Turkish authorities have seized the cars of international drug trafficker Hakan Ayik. The Bentleys, Porsches, Ferraris and Co. were later handed over to the city police, who were then converted accordingly. As “The Daily Telegraph” writes, the total value is the equivalent of approximately 2.9 million francs.

“As a result of our Istanbul police’s successful operations against organized crime organizations, 23 vehicles were seized. After the court ruling, these vehicles were handed over to our police,” Yerlikaya wrote in the post.

Hakan Ayik, the original owner of the cars, is the Australian-Turkish leader of the Comancheros motorcycle gang, which is mainly active in Australia and Southeast Asia.

The man was accused in several countries of drug smuggling, money laundering and manslaughter. On November 1, the handcuffs clicked in Istanbul. Along with Ayik, 36 other accomplices were arrested. Large amounts of cash were also seized during the major raid. The arrest of the drug lord is of great importance for Turkey. (man)
