Andreas P.* from Muldestausee (D) is said to have mixed parts of the blue monkshood plant into his wife’s food on April 29. The plant contains the active substance Acontin – and is said to kill his wife Marlen P. (†63).

Affair knew about a murder plan

The alleged murderer’s 58-year affair will also become a legal case. This was the result of an attempted coercion and failure to report a planned crime, as the court spokesperson explained according to the newspaper ‘Bild’.

Accordingly, the secret lover would have given the married man a choice. According to the public prosecutor, this prompted him to kill his wife. Although the suspect was aware of this, she did nothing about it.
