The Indian army says 23 soldiers are missing after a flash flood in northeastern India. Floods have occurred in the Teesta river due to heavy rains over Lhonak Lake in Sikkim state, the Army said on Wednesday. 23 soldiers were reported missing, and some vehicles were also buried under water. It was said that a rescue operation was underway.
