Israeli government leader meets Elon Musk during American trip American politician discovered on internet sex sites – in the middle of the election campaign

During his trip to the US, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will also meet with technology billionaire Elon Musk, who has been criticized for anti-Semitic posts on his online platform X. The meeting was scheduled for Monday, the government’s cabinet said on Thursday. According to media reports, he will make a stopover in California before attending the UN General Assembly in New York late next week.

It was unclear whether Netanyahu would also meet US President Joe Biden in the US. In the summer they both agreed to meet “in the fall”.

It is Netanyahu’s first visit to the United States since he returned to power late last year. A direct invitation to the White House is officially pending. Observers see this as an expression of Biden’s dissatisfaction with the policies of Netanyahu’s right-wing religious government.

Musk was recently forced to reject accusations of anti-Semitism. Reasons included anti-Semitic messages on his online platform X (formerly Twitter) and his attacks on the Jewish organization ADL (Anti-Defamation League) and the financier George Soros.

Musk bought Twitter last October for about $44 billion with the promise of greater freedom of expression. As a result, some major advertising clients withdrew because they feared a negative environment for their brands. Twitter’s ad revenue is still half of what it was before the acquisition.

Under Musk, some blocked accounts with right-wing views have been unblocked and he is taking the approach of limiting the spread of messages rather than deleting them. Hate speech researchers at CCDH released a new report this week showing that of the 300 reported anti-Semitic and racist posts on X, 259 were still online after a week.

Musk claims the ADL defamed him and X with accusations of anti-Semitism and is responsible for the decline in sales. A few days ago, he released a poll on whether the ADL should be banned from the platform. Observers subsequently found many anti-Semitic messages on the service. The ADL had criticized Musk’s constant outbursts against Soros, among other things, accusing the X owner of hating humanity. Soros often plays a central role in anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. Musk wrote about X in early September: “To be clear: I am for freedom of speech, but against anti-Semitism of any kind.” (sda/dpa)
