“Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen is known for his lavish lifestyle. But this could now cost him dearly. In the “Knockin’ Doorz Down” podcast, the 57-year-old admitted for the first time that he repeatedly encountered significant problems in his daily life. The actor would now find even the most simple things difficult.
He reports on everyday things that he can only handle with great difficulty. “I am often very forgetful, I suffer from severe mood swings,” he admits publicly. Even tying his shoelaces or tie is now a major challenge for the father of three daughters.
Sometimes the 57-year-old also has trouble distinguishing the days of the week. The actor’s years of drug and alcohol abuse may have caused permanent damage to his body. But Charlie Sheen doesn’t just see the problem in his excessive consumption. He suspects that the strong medication he has to take because of his HIV infection can further damage his body.
In 2015, Charlie Sheen went public with his HIV infection on NBC’s “Today” show. The background for his step to the public should have included a prostitute who photographed his medication and then blackmailed the TV star with the recordings.
The TV star would have been aware of his illness since 2011. Nevertheless, a complaint was filed against him in 2017. The accusation: the actor had unprotected sex with a woman despite his illness and deliberately kept his HIV infection a secret. After the five-year trial, Charlie Sheen was ordered to pay the plaintiff $120,000 in damages.
