Two Germans had a lot of bad luck on the Austrian part of Lake Constance on Sunday. The two took off with their helicopter in Friedrichshafen, Germany, and crashed over the lake near Bregenz. As stated in the message, around 3 p.m., the police’s national reporting center in Bregenz was informed about a helicopter crash. The plane crashed into Lake Constance in front of the Bregenz Achmündung, as was initially said.

The authorities immediately sent a large contingent of rescuers to the scene. Including water police, fire brigade and water rescue. Witnesses at the scene reported to police that a jack-up helicopter hit Lake Constance, seemingly slowly descending, and then set.
