FDA approved gel for sexual impotence

Management of Food and drugs in the USA (FDA) has approved the over-the-counter sale of a topical gel for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

The gel is called Eroxon, and its manufacturer, the pharmaceutical company Futura Medica, claims it is the first of its kind.

The FDA confirmed that Eroxon received a “de novo” classification, which means that the gel is a new type of product.

“The FDA has set very high standards for evaluating the efficacy and safety of ‘de novo’ medical devices. I am thrilled that we have met that standard,” said James Barder, the company’s chief executive officer.

The product is already available in European countries such as Belgium and UK.

In the UK, the price of Eroxon is $31.22 (£24.99).

However, the price in the United States and its availability have not yet been determined as it will be up to the external partner to make the decision.

According to CNN, some financial analysts predict that the product could be launched in 2025.

The product instructions state that the gel should be applied to the head of the penis 15 seconds before intercourse. Once applied, it would help users achieve an erection within 10 minutes.

The erection lasts long enough for satisfactory intercourse 65% of cases disappear naturally.
