Ukraine: Zelensky speaks to the federal parliament via video

The speech to the United Federal Assembly is based on a decision by the council offices of the two chambers on May 5. The offices noted at the time that the speech would take place during the current summer session. Modalities and time were initially open.

The National Council and the Council of States had clearly condemned the Russian offensive war. With this explanation, the Council services justified their green light. Video speeches are part of Kyiv’s foreign policy repertoire.
