The most visited Swiss online shop for erotica has come up with something very special: on Friday all employees get a day off for “self-love and mental health”, or masturbating.
The day takes place in the context of “Masturbation May”, as the Swiss company Amorana explains in a press release. “Masturbation May” is considered a month in the “Sexual Wellness Industry” to educate people on the topic of solo sex. Because masturbating has mental and health benefits, the company writes.
Those who masturbate sleep better, cope better with stress, and increase self-esteem. It would also support women with menstrual cramps or pain due to endometriosis. Masturbating also has benefits for men: among other things, prostate problems can be alleviated. And: Sex with a partner also gets better.
