Waking! That doesn’t work at all with the toilets in Switzerland!

Public toilets must be free, clean and available in sufficient numbers. Why is that not the case here in Switzerland?

One of the fundamental cultural differences in this world concerns urine. Where do we expect the toilets to be free and where do we have to pay for them?

I think it’s brutal that you have to pay to pee at train stations and motorway service stations. Honestly, we only have to pay for it because Swiss society has accepted it and set it up that way. This is not an indisputable fact set in stone.

Just because a public toilet is free doesn’t mean it can’t be clean. Watch my video for a more detailed explanation of my position:

A society with free public toilets is fairer, more accessible and more democratic. I urge you to start a petition to speak out against charges for using public restrooms. No to blackmail when visiting the toilet!
