“More coke was spent” – Jauch was dismayed by the WWM question

The second night of the 3 million week of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” is slightly more promising than the first. Four candidates qualify for the final on Friday. Also present: a young woman who “gets revenge” for her failed boyfriend.

Kerstin Jacob-Rauch made amends on Tuesday night in the episode “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”. The night before, her boyfriend had sat across from Günther Jauch in the same chair—and failed miserably.

Benjamin Burg should have answered the following question for 2000 euros:

“Before I get upset, I’ll take answer C first,” says the candidate. He assumed that it came from the German magazine “Gala” and that it should therefore be published in Frankfurt.

Jauch’s answer was curt: “You should have been more restless.” The correct answer was “Fiesta from Cologne” – meaning the Ford Fiesta, which is produced in Cologne and will soon cease production. And so Benjamin Burg went home on Monday evening with four unused jokers and 500 euros.

But he had a fifth prankster: his girlfriend Kerstin. This played its way to Günther Jauch that same evening. It was not the intention that both were called up for the same show – the random generator classified them as RTL writes.

“Is the a gracious fate! », says Günther Jauch, when Kerstin Jacob-Rauch also ends up in the hot seat after the selection round. Now she can restore the family honor.

And the overhanging candidate, who was allowed to gamble further on Tuesday evening, is doing well. Not even one of the dumbest questions in “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” throws them off the course – for 300 euros, Jacob-Rauch is asked this question:

Granted, it’s a very German question. But even if you know the expression “Bornsteinschwalbe” (woman who practices street prostitution), you have to agree with Jauch. He said, “There’s a line more coke spent on this question.” (The correct answer, of course, was the last one, “Bread online”.)

The candidate from Baden-Württemberg also plays the game quite well after that and ultimately drops only because of the demand of 64,000 euros:

Jacob-Rauch thinks about this for a long time. As usual, Günther Jauch doesn’t help much. Ironically, the quizmaster tries to convince her of the last answer. The candidate says she would have heard if three of the top 20 tennis players in the world were related. “I once heard that Djokovic was a distant cousin of Alexander Zverev,” replies Jauch. And: “They also have an uncle in common who visited Spain a long time ago…”

Kerstin Jacob-Rauch still takes answer C, “Avengers”, but gets out first. Lucky for her, because the correct answer would have been the peanuts. Now the candidate hopes to be able to gamble for three million euros in the grand final on Friday.
