Rare models like this Lamborghini 350 GT are entering Hall 6 at Auto Zurich this year. Below we show the highlights among the classics.
Lorenzo FulviRegulatory Auto and Mobility

60 years ago Ferruccio Lamborghini (1912–1993) showed the 350 GTV, the first sports car he produced. It is considered the forerunner of the 350 GT, which appeared a little later – typical Lamborghini – with a twelve-cylinder engine. To celebrate the brand’s 60th birthday, Kloten’s Hirsch AG is bringing many gems from Lambo’s past to Auto Zurich as a special exhibition. Other birthday children include Land Rover, Porsche and VW Switzerland brands, which turned 75 years old. In addition to anniversaries, there are many other classics to admire at Auto Zurich. Here is a selection of the most beautiful and rare models.

Alfa Romeo 1900

From 1950 to 1959 Alfa Romeo produced the 1900 model series. There are less than 200 copies of the super edition. Kestenholz Automobil AG brings an Alfa 1900 Super with eye-catching two-tone paintwork to Auto Zurich. From the exhibition hall one can go directly to the start of the legendary Mille Miglia race.

Aston Martin V8 Volante

The second series of the V8 Volante has an injection engine and only 216 units were produced. Especially with the model exhibited by Touring Garage AG at Auto Zurich: It is the former show car exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show in 1986.

Bentley Blower “Jnr”

Schmohl Exclusive Classic Cars, together with The Little Car Company, introduces the Bentley Blower “Jnr” (right) at Auto Zurich. This is the 4.5-litre team car no. 2, from 1929. The Mini-Bentley runs on electricity.

Lamborghini Miura

Miura was the name of the young brand’s third model in 1966 (after the 350 GT and 400 GT) – still considered by fans to be the most beautiful Lamborghini of all time, and for some to be the most beautiful car in the world. Designed by design legend Marcello Gandini (84), the modern sports car was the first Lamborghini named after a bull; A tradition Lambo continues to this day.

Lamborghini Countach

The successor to the Miura, the Countach (pronounced “Kuntasch”), both legendary and difficult to pronounce, was introduced in 1973. This sports car legend was also created by star designer Marcello Gandini and shocked with its fighter design. Approximately 2,000 examples were produced in five series between 1974 and 1990.

Mercedes-Benz SL

The elegance of the 1970s is embodied in the R 107 series Mercedes-Benz SL, produced at Auto Zurich between 1971 and 1989. It is a two-seat roadster, optionally equipped with two emergency seats in the rear. Kestenholz Automobil AG is displaying two examples of this series.
