There is little interest, especially among German manufacturers, in coming to Geneva in 2024. An exclusive investigation by the German trade magazine “Automobilwoche” shows that none of the German premium manufacturers will be present in Geneva next year.
Communication platforms at Mercedes-Benz are constantly and individually controlled to reach target groups and customers. “The number and scope of brand presence will be more strongly focused on new models, new presentation formats and synergies than in the past,” a company spokesperson told “Automobilwoche” in marketing jargon. But then he clearly states: “After careful consideration, Mercedes-Benz AG will not be able to participate in the Geneva Motor Show.”

However, they emphasize: “The fact that Audi will not be there in 2024 is not a general decision against Geneva.” Instead, the event schedule is re-evaluated each year based on product planning and timing of premieres. This suggests that Audi has nothing new to offer in spring 2024.
VW Group brands Porsche, Seat and Cupra have not yet officially decided; There are still a few days left until the end of October and the registration deadline. Only: “Automobilwoche” says that the three brands are unlikely to be exhibited in Geneva, citing well-informed sources of the company.
