According to the girl, the assaults dated back to 2017 and took place in Nice, where Balotelli earned his living at the time. He always defended himself by saying the relationship was voluntary. The girl’s complaint was preceded by brutal blackmail by her and her lawyer. Despite the fact that Balotelli had not continued the relationship with the girl, the duo had demanded 100,000 euros from the footballer, otherwise she would report him. He didn’t pay what the girl acted on.
But Balotelli fought back and sued the girl and the lawyer. Now he could prove his innocence and win the trial for attempted blackmail. Result: The court in Vicenza (I) has now sentenced the girl’s lawyer to two years and three months in prison for attempted extortion. And a payment of 80,000 francs as compensation for Balotelli.
The Sion professional actually seems free, but is not fit yet. He posted a story on Instagram where you can see how he is being treated by an osteopath. Balotelli writes: “Focus on the comeback!”
