Ferrol ends sales and sells out places in A Malata in one day

The last runners who got tickets for the match against Celta B had to endure more than eight hours of waiting in a very long line. the curtain of an exciting day that started eleven hours earlier.

The rule was clear: each subscriber could buy two tickets at the friendly price and three at the public price. So, with the forecast that it would end soon, they didn’t wait for tomorrow and showed up at the stadium as soon as possible. Many, with several cards to capture the flood of interested people so as not to miss the meeting.

The early risers arrived at the gates of A Malata at six in the morning. Among them is Paco Naveira. He was among the first to leave the stadium with 16 tickets for his friends. “This row is spectacular, I don’t remember anything like that,” he admitted yesterday. He has been a member all his life — “I played for Youth Racing in 1972, imagine how many years I’ve been here,” he recalls — and has experienced many moments of euphoria. His cheering: “It will be 2-0”, he wishes.

Paco was lucky to wait four hours. But as the day went on, the wait got longer. There were many far-sighted subscribers who didn’t even hesitate to wait with a laptop to do the work paperwork. Also a lot of young people. Among her, Bea Adega Caruncho.

It stands out with a neon green manicure. He arrived at nine-thirty, when the motorcade was already making its way to the rear parking lot. “I come to get tickets for my family and friends,” he says. And that is that the young twenty-year-old girl followed her grandfather’s love for football. “I always come with him to Racing,” he explains. So he tries to get the rest of his family and friends on the hook.

A few meters ahead, four friends are waiting their turn: Sara Díaz, Elena Castrillón, Pablo Rodríguez and Brais Romalde. They are 20-year-olds who started following Racing in adolescence. “We come with several cards to buy tickets for family and friends,” they explain. They comment that on Monday their wasap “started” with messages from “everyone” who asked for help. They admit that they are “very nervous” about a possible promotion in which they have “full” confidence. If they succeed, they make promises like quitting smoking or dyeing the ends of their hair green.
