After the goal spectacle in the 7-0 opening win against the Slovenians, a radiant Sven Senteler is standing in the mixed zone and has to answer for himself. The reason? He has just celebrated his World Cup premiere. At 30! He says with a grin: “I’m a late bloomer. I’ve never been in a junior selection, neither in the U18 nor the U20.”
