President Lugo, on stage on Thursday

After Lugo’s relegation to the First RFEF, which ended eleven years in professional football, president Tino Saqués will appear before the media. It will be next Thursday at 12 noon at the Ángel Carro Stadium.

In this performance, the president should analyze the bad season of the team that had four coaches and discuss future projects. The masses are undoubtedly waiting for explanations from Saqués, not only about the campaign that ends in a few weeks, but also about his intentions for the next one.

It should not be forgotten that the club’s largest shareholder commented at the beginning of February that his medium-term intention is to sell his shares, as long as a suitable option appears. Those weeks were complicated because the Association of Supporters’ Clubs asked him to sell his shares.

Then Tino Saqués guaranteed him continuity until the end of this season, assuring him that it was not time to leave the club. Now it remains to be seen what their intentions are, given that this campaign has to be described as a complete failure.

Andorra is coming

On the sports front, the Lugo team continues with preparations for the next league match against Andorra. It will be this Sunday at six thirty in the afternoon at the Ángel Carro Stadium. The goal of the albivermellos players is to achieve their first victory in 2023.
