The New York Knicks defeated the Miami Heat 111-105 at home and tied 1-1 in the best-of-7 series. With 30 points, Jalen Brunson was the most diligent point collector on the Knicks team. Julius Randle also showed a strong game with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
Roger Federer and his wife Mirka also followed the Knicks victory in the stands. Federer’s heart is clearly beating for the New York team, as the “Maestro” has a Knicks bomber jacket on his feet. The Swiss resides in the Big Apple and appeared at the Met Gala on May 1, where he turned heads with his sunglasses and brand new Rolex.
In the second game, the Warriors dominated the opening stages, but midway through the third quarter, the Lakers took control and firmly pulled away. Los Angeles star was Anthony Davis with 30 points and 23 rebounds. LeBron James also skated diligently, collecting 22 points and 11 rebounds. The best scorer for the defending champion was Stephen Curry with 27 points. (SDA/jsl)
