Ragnhild Mowinckel in love: she is engaged to her boyfriend.

Soon the wedding bells will ring for Ragnhild Mowinckel. The Norwegian ski ace announces his engagement to boyfriend Mathias Tangenes on Instagram.

“Now you are bound to me for life,” writes the two-time Olympic silver medalist in 2018 (giant slalom and downhill) in a photo series with her lover. The list of benefactors is prominent: Wendy Holdener, Mikaela Shiffrin, Michelle Gisin, Corinne Suter and many more.

The 30-year-old regained her old strength in the past season. Between 2019 and 2021, Mowinckel occasionally struggled with injuries. Last season she won the Cortina Super-G and achieved three other podiums. She finished sixth in the overall World Cup and put the icing on the cake with the bronze medal in the giant slalom at the World Cup. (che)
