Says Contini, “It’s a rarity to get praise from a YB trainer.” In 28 competitive games against YB to date, Contini has won just three times.

Victory tastes all the sweeter. Because YB spoils the Meistersaus. And because the specter of relegation will probably finally be driven out of Niederhasli. “We now have 40 points, so theoretically not much can happen. We are now looking ahead,” says Contini.

He is surprisingly in the starting eleven and becomes the man of the game with a goal and an assist. Contini says: “He’s such a rewarding player, he’s always motivated even when the competition is often ahead of him.”

According to Contini, Demhasaj embodies what he stands for. “Not about the individual, but about the club.”
