The person arrested for the attack on the youth CD Lugo is going to court

On Monday afternoon, the national police arrested a young man as the alleged perpetrator of the attack on Gonzalo CuéllarAn 18-year-old footballer from the youth team of the Honorary Division of Club Deportivo Lugo, who is still in the Lucus Augusti University Hospital (HULA) recovering from his injuries.

As reported by the police station of the province of Lugo, the arrest took place at the last moment after the events that took place in the early morning hours of Saturday and Sunday in the nightlife area of ​​Clérigos Street.

The agents, after the family filed a lawsuit on Sunday, began an investigation in which they took statements from all possible witnesses, and after that process they were able to determine the alleged author of the injuries.

So, on Monday evening, the national police arrested the man who allegedly hit the young man. After taking the statement, he remains in jail at the police station, and is expected to appear in court on Tuesday morning.
