No youth department in Switzerland currently works as well as the one in Lucerne. She has brought out numerous players in recent years. Frick made it possible for four of his own juniors to make their professional debuts this year. No other coach in Switzerland can claim that. Now it seems that the entire defense against FC Zurich would consist of FCL trainees on Saturday. “It is quite possible that there is a purely homegrown defense,” Frick announced.

The average age of this series is 19.5 years. Anyone who thinks that these four only appear because many are suspended is wrong. Now he is part of the U21 again for the time being. He will be loaned to a Challenge League club in the summer. How things will continue with Noah Rupp, Luuk Breedijk, Lars Villiger and Nando Toggenburger is still open. Until everything is decided, the youngsters will still bring great moments to the FCL – in the U21 or under Frick in the Super League.
