But in the last game before the international break, Zeqiri suffered a cruciate ligament injury shortly after kick-off. That also rubbed on Amdouni: because without his sympathetic partner by his side, he remained pale in the matches with FCB ever since. But now Zeqiri is back. Which enticed Vogel to say, “That certainly doesn’t make us weaker. He was in great shape until the injury.”

FCZ will not like that “ZZ Top” will be reunited in Letzigrund of all places – and FCB will take it into play as a good omen: in August, Amdouni scored in a 4-2 win at the same venue against the same opponent and Zeqiri scored their first league goals in FCB clothing.
