Scare all the little kids with this special jeep

What would this six-wheeled off-road vehicle be called? We suspect that the nameplate probably doesn’t say “Rainbow Madelief 6 × 6 AWD”. And we’re right, because a car like this obviously needs something aggressive.

Trash Mauler! Or monster decapitaters! Or Apocalypse Hellfire! And the last one is. The oversized pickup is based on the Jeep Gladiator 6×6, which in turn is based on the normal Jeep Gladiator.

Apocalypse Hellfire is a modified jeep

It’s the product of Apocalypse Manufacturing, an – of course – American company that’s pretty macho. There are definitely happy guys working at the company, but their products certainly don’t sound very happy: Warlord, Doomsday, Sinister 6.

Anyway, we’d be gloomy too if we had to drive the Hellfire into the parking garage under Hoog Catharijne. The modified jeep is 6.2 meters long and just over 2 meters high and wide.

This jeep even gives us nightmares

Luckily, high concrete curbs don’t bother you, because you can walk over them with these huge all-terrain tires with extremely high sidewalls. Incidentally, also about small children and dogs… if they haven’t run away yet.

Because hellfire even gives us nightmares. Apocalypse Manufacturing has created something terrible. A cross between a jeep and Bane from The Dark Knight Rises, Megatron from Transformers and Skeletor from He-Man.

Starting price of no less than 180,000 euros

According to the manufacturer, there is an optional 513 hp 8.6-liter V8 in the Hellfire. One that swings the pick-up, which is undoubtedly not very light, to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.

Incidentally, this example – which is for sale at Bringatrailer.com – is not equipped with this energy source. Its eight-cylinder is “only” 450 hp strong. Nevertheless, the asking price is fixed. You can only get the Hellfire from 180,000 euros.
