Golfer hits two hole-in-ones in a row

Seamus Power achieves the impossible at the par 3 game in Augusta.

Before the start of golf’s premier tournament, the Masters, the traditional par 3 competition in Augusta had preceded it since 1960. In addition to the hole-in-ones, the tournament is known for its family atmosphere, as the pros usually have their families with them as caddies. Seamus Power delivers an almost impossible feat on the shortened 9-hole course: the Irishman only needs two shots on holes eight and nine.

However, it is not enough to win. The 36-year-old is disqualified for allowing his brother, who is at his side as a caddy, to putt. Power takes it easy as he joins Claude Harman (1968) and Toshi Izawa (2002) as the only third golfer in league history to complete a back-to-back hole-in-one. (discard)
