Gabri Veiga leaves the concentration of the Spanish U-21 team due to muscle discomfort

The Spanish Federation announced this Tuesday at noon that the footballer The Celtic Gabriel Veiga will leave the concentration national team under the age of 21 in which the team prepares friendly matches against Switzerland and France for some muscle discomfort with which he had already achieved concentration. This morning the numbers were released and he was assigned number 18.

It has now been reported that the midfielder told the U-21 team’s medical services yesterday that he was suffering from some minor muscle painsconsidering what he proceeded to perform evidence. As a result of the same, and after a discussion with the medical service of his club, it was decided that, as a precaution, it is preferable for the player to leave his concentration and return to the dynamics of his club.

Celta has already informed the RFEF about these inconveniences and finally agreed not to participate in these matches.

Carlos Carvalhal In recent weeks, he has already commented that Veiga has overcome the physical problems that have diminished him. Namely, after the game in which he scored a double goal against Valladolid, he pointed out that during the week he could not train 100 percent, although he later assured that he had fully recovered for the next game.

Santi Denia has decided to call up Pablo Barrios (Club Atlético de Madrid) to cover his loss and will join the team dynamics as soon as possible, to be available in the evening slot for the under-21 players.
