Dominic Stricker is aiming for the important jump to the top 100 this year. The 20-year-old from Bern, currently number 118 in the world, is repositioning himself for this. His former coach Sven Swinnen takes on the task of bringing new talent to the top at Swiss Tennis. Meanwhile, Stricker will be looked after by Dieter Kindlmann with immediate effect.
The 40-year-old German was once Maria Sharapova’s sparring partner for a long time and later coached top players Angelique Kerber and Aryna Sabalenka. Kindlmann, who already knows Swiss Tennis from previous jobs, must now help Stricker take the next step in his career.
Meanwhile, the role of Peter Lundgren remains open. The former Federer coach is a temporary member of Stricker’s team – primarily as an idea generator and advisor. However, the Swede has already indicated that he can imagine further cooperation. A decision must be made in two weeks after the tournaments in Biel and Lille.
