Next well-known newcomer to the EV Zug women’s team. After Lara Stalder (28) and Nadine Hofstetter (28), Noemi Ryhner (22) is the next Nati player to move to Central Switzerland. She signs a two-year contract until the end of the 2024/25 season.
For Ryhner, it’s a return to her roots. She grew up in Zug and played in the EVZ offspring for several years. She played her first game in the Women’s League when she was 15 for the ZSC Lions.
After periods at SC Reinach and HC Lugano, she moved to Sweden in 2021. Ryhner initially played for Lulea HF and immediately won the championship with the team. After one season she switched to Leksands IF. There she scored four goals and had six assists in 24 games.
“Noemi is a smart striker and has a very good set of skills. Despite her young age, she already has a lot of international experience,” said coach Daniela Diaz in the press release. She knows Ryhner from the past, because she was her coach with the Lions.
