There is something almost masochistic about taking a seat in the stadium or in front of the TV as an FCB fan just in time for kick-off. No team currently misses the start of a match as often as Basel. The disastrous record of the last five games: seven goals conceded in the starting phase, four times the team from Basel were 0-1 behind after the 9th minute at the latest.

That is why it is not enough to beat the unpopular rivals from Zurich in the third game of the season. Celestini can live with the draw due to the double false start: “In our situation, every point is important. And if you can’t win, you certainly can’t lose.”
