The numbers for the 27th matchday of the Super League: Striker gets the highest grade, FCB team completely unsatisfactory

class=”sc-cffd1e67-0 iQNQmc”>

1/8
The entire team was insufficient, Fabian Frei (l.) received a 2. Taulant Xhaka (r.) could have helped the team from Basel, but did not take action.

YB – Basel 5:1

Under new coach Joël Magnin, YB has lost its frustration against FCB. Several Bernese attacking players shone at the 5-1 gala. This also applied to Monteiro, who made it 1-0 after just over a minute.

The entire defense of the Basel sleepyheads is failing. Symbolic of FCB’s performance is Veiga, who refused to cooperate when the fourth goal was scored shortly before half-time. Striker Barry is still the best FCB player, but his goal is not enough to get a passing grade.

Napkin – Lausanne 3:1

Servette captain Steve Rouiller delivers another solid performance. Dereck Kutesa, on the other hand, hesitated a bit. Dylan Bronn, who is not allowed to play in Europe, takes the yellow-red card after applause for the referee.

For the team from Lausanne, Simone Pafundi can celebrate his first goal, but remains largely invisible. The best man on the pitch for Vaudois is Karlo Letica. The Croatian goalkeeper made several first-class saves. On the other hand, it was an afternoon to forget for Jamie Roche, who was responsible for the penalty that put Geneva back in the lead in the closing stages.

Stade-Lausanne-Ouchy – Lucerne 2-1

Ismaël Gharbi is the best SLO player on the field. He is technically very good and holds his own in one-on-one situations. With his goal and his pass to make it 2-0, he puts SLO on the road to victory. Goalkeeper Jérémy Vachoux showed a strong performance and saved his team from falling behind several times in the first half.

On the Lucerne side, Adrian Grbic failed, who missed the goal of the year in the first minute of the match and was no longer visible after that. Sofyan Chader performed strongly until he was substituted due to an injury. Teddy Okou brings the FCL back into the match against his old club with his subsequent goal.

Yverdon – FCZ 3:2

A strong goalkeeper (Bernardoni) who saves a penalty and three good attacking players (Cespedes, Corness and Carlos) who score the goals up front are enough for Yverdon to beat FCZ.

At FCZ, in addition to the attackers Marchesano and Okita – who also carelessly missed the penalty – two of the four defenders (Katic, Dante) failed.

Yverdon – FCZ 3:2: Too bad! FCZ-Okita missed the penalty and the margin shot(03:04)

Winterthur – ranking 2:0

classification coach Bruno Berner starts ultra-offensive on the Schützenwiese: there are five strikers in the starting line-up, including the newcomers Batista Meier and Kameri. The first is unconvincing and appears to be a foreign body. While what’s on display is generally compelling, the plan going forward as to how the Hoppers will achieve the urgently needed goals isn’t clear.

Winterthur, on the other hand, shows a calm performance – and strikes in the person of super sprinter Nishan Burkart exactly when the Hoppers open up at the back. Ultimately, Winti points 16 to 18 were deserved this year, even though Matteo Di Giusto had a bad day and Sayfallah Ltaief had a mixed day. But that’s what Burkert is for.

Winterthur – classification 2:0: Burkart circles the ball beautifully into the corner(03:07)

St. Gall – Lugano 2:3

The Luganesi convince with a strong collective. Uran Bislimi stands out with his winning goal to make it 3-2 and the assist to make it 2-2. The Lugano attackers Zan Celar and Mattia Bottani miss the grade 5 because they ultimately miss too many (top) chances.

St. Gallen’s otherwise strong central defender duo of Abdoulaye Diaby and Albert Vallci had a poor evening, looking very poor when conceding 1:1 (Vallci) and 2:3 (Diaby) and also struggling against Celar and Bottani. But the attacking FCSG midfield was also not enough in the deserved defeat.
