Michel posts photos on Instagram of the hospital and of the helicopter that flew him to the university hospital in Dresden with his life-threatening injuries. “I was very lucky”

Michel writes: “So far it has taken four operations to secure my survival and patch me up somewhat. I think I was very lucky and can/should be lucky to be able to write this message today.”

Pilot Michael Vogt (26), who has been a successful pusher for many years, continues: “The past two weeks were not easy for me. After a serious accident in the Altenberg ice channel, I spent a week and a half in intensive care in Dresden. I am currently back in hospital in Switzerland.”
