Loris Benito (32) is no longer on the field this season. YB announced this in a statement. The defender tore the cruciate ligament in his right knee in the match against Lausanne (1-0). “The Swiss international will have to undergo surgery and will be out for months,” it said.
After just five minutes the match was over for Benito after a duel with Kaly Sène.
Benito returned to YB in July 2022. From the summer of 2015, he played in the capital for four years and won the championship title three times with the Bernese team. (mom)
