There is also a small pocket sewn into his body containing a medallion with a special content: his father’s ashes. Alvin Jones Sr. died in April 2021 at the age of 56 from complications resulting from the corona disease. Since then, his son has carried some of his ashes with him as a talisman.

And in the game against the Dallas Cowboys he seems to bring luck to Jones again. The Packers win 48:32, advancing to the Divisional Round (quarterfinals) and Jones contributes three of the six touchdowns. This means that the team from the American state of Wisconsin, which barely reached the play-offs as the seventh best team in the NFC, will come as a surprise against the number two from the regular season.

Detroit is throwing away the 2022 champion

In the Divisional Round, the Packers will face the Detroit Lions. For the first time since 2016, the team around quarterback Jared Goff played again in the play-offs and defeated the Los Angeles Rams (Super Bowl champions 2022) 24:23.
