But the deal is stuck. Jackson and Haas are operationally blocked because the Chinese GC owners are currently not paying attention to the transfer market. They are in the process of selling the club they took over in 2020. Negotiations with interested parties are said to be at an advanced stage. Rumor has it that GC will have new owners by February at the latest. Should Kacuri wait until then for approval to move to FC Basel?
