On Thursday evening, MC El-Bayadh’s team suffered a tragic bus accident on the way to an away match at JS Kabylie. According to the Algerian Football Federation FAF and the club, two people have been killed. The victims are goalkeeper Zakaria Bouziani (†27) and assistant coach Khaled Meftah.
Eight other people were injured in the terrible accident, four of them seriously. Due to the accident, the Algerian Football Federation has canceled all league matches for next weekend. (cat)
