More than 400 people arrested

During the unrest, a 31-year-old police officer was hit by a flare. As the hospital in the suburb of Nikaia reports, his life is in danger. According to media reports, the femoral artery was injured.

While he fights for his life, his professional colleagues intensively search for the perpetrator. According to Greek broadcaster ERT, more than 400 people have been arrested as a result.

Football round cancelled

The riots did not go unnoticed in the hall either. So exercising was no longer an option. Those responsible pulled the rip cord and stopped the volleyball game.

But there were unpleasant scenes in Greece not only in volleyball this week. At the beginning of this week, unknown people threatened two referees.
