FC St. Gallen will have to do without Betim Fazliji (24) for the rest of the season. A torn ACL ended his season prematurely.
As FC St. Gallen announced, Fazliji suffered the injury during training on Thursday afternoon. The operation is scheduled for next weekend.
Fazliji only returned to Eastern Switzerland in the summer after a season at FC St. Pauli. The versatile midfielder immediately became a regular and top player again. He was always in the starting line-up in the first ten Super League games before suffering a minor medial ligament injury and now this cruciate ligament tear has slowed him down completely. (dti)
