Accident in the swimming pool as a child

Bencic announced the good news of the offspring on November 3, together with her partner and fitness coach Martin Hromkovic (41). When asked about her future role as a mother, she says: “Children have to make mistakes. It will hurt them, it will hurt me too. But as long as nothing serious happens, it’s okay.” As a child she once had an accident in a swimming pool. «I wanted to jump from the edge of the pool into the water with my back to the water and I didn’t jump far enough away. I bumped my chin.” She had to have the wound stitched up.
