Have a blast with the Swiss women’s national team. Inka Grings (45) is no longer a trainer. As the association announced on Friday afternoon, they had “mutually agreed to immediately terminate the collaboration that has existed since the beginning of the year.”
“To remove the pressure on the team and the association, it is with a heavy heart that I have decided to take this step,” said Grings. One reason for this may be the current headlines surrounding her. Grings is involved in the financial scandal surrounding the accused husband of former Germany and Switzerland national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg (55).
Grings describes his time in Switzerland as “exciting with many great experiences”. Her record as a national coach is poor. Only one victory was achieved from fourteen matches.
The association would like to thank Grings for the work she has done. It is still unclear who will be on the sidelines in the last two Nations League matches against Sweden (December 1) and Italy (December 5). The association wants to approach the search for a successor calmly. (beer)
